Araria 26 July (HS). The responsibility of the new president of Bihar BJP has been given to Dr. Dilip Jaiswal by removing Samrat Chaudhary. For the first time, the BJP high command expressed confidence in any leader from Seemanchal and before the Bihar assembly elections to be held next year, the responsibility of the state president was handed over to Dr. Dilip Jaiswal. BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh made this change on the instructions of National President JP Nadda.
Dr Dilip Jaiswal is currently a member of the Legislative Council of BJP. He was elected Science Councilor from Purnia-cum-Araria-cum-Kishanganj Local Authority constituency for the third consecutive time. He has scored a hat-trick of winning the MLC elections three times in a row. Along with being the party's state in-charge of Sikkim, Dr Dilip Jaiswal, who held the post of treasurer in the Bihar BJP organization for a long time, is the Minister in the Land Reforms and Revenue Department in the Bihar Government. He is also the Director of Mata Gujri Devi Medical College and University of Kishanganj.
On Dr Dilip Jaiswal being given the responsibility of Bihar State President, Araria MP Pradeep Kumar Singh, MLA Vidyasagar Keshari, Jaiprakash Yadav, Vijay Kumar Mandal, District President Aditya Narayan Jha, former District President Alok Bhagat alias Bamshankar Bhagat, Santosh Surana, Randhir Singh, Manoj Jha, State Coordinator of Namo App Avinash Kannaujiya Anshu, Sushmita Thakur etc. congratulated him and expressed the expectation for the BJP to become organisationally stronger in the entire Bihar including Seemanchal.
Local leaders said that Dr Dilip Jaiswal is a scholar and educated person and has an impeccable image and the BJP organization will benefit from this.
