Ranchi, 26 July (HS). The state government has appointed CID DG Anurag Gupta as DGP. Anurag Gupta is also the DG of ACB and has additional charge of DGP.
Similarly, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh has been transferred and made the Chairman cum Managing Director of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited.
Apart from this, Prashant Singh, posted as Chairman cum Managing Director of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited, has been transferred and the post of ADG Communication and Technical Services, Ranchi has been upgraded to DG category till further orders and he has been made DG of Communication and Technical Services.
In this regard, the Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department has issued a notification late Thursday night.
