Ranchi, July 26 (HS). Applications have been invited from retired people for appointment on contract basis in Birsa Agricultural University. People up to 62 years of age, retired from the service of State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings and Agricultural Universities, can apply. The minimum qualification for the post of Controller (Finance Head) of the University is B.Com degree or equivalent degree, experience as a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or passing the Subordinate Accounts Service Examination of State, Central Government. Also, there should be a minimum of 10 years of experience of working in a government or semi-government institution.
The essential qualification for the post of medical officer is a degree in medical science from a recognized university and at least five years of experience as a registered medical practitioner. Similarly, for the post of Deputy Director, Works and Plant (Civil), a degree in civil engineering and five years of work experience in the post of Executive Engineer or above is required.
Candidates can apply online and pay the fees through the link provided on BAU's website (www.bauranchi.org) within 10 days of the advertisement (23 July). The application fee is Rs. 1000 for general and backward class candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates. Selected candidates will be given monthly honorarium as per the resolution of the Finance Department of Jharkhand Government. The initial appointment will be for six months which can be extended as per the rules of the state government.
