Dhamtari, 25 July (HS). Under the aegis of Sai Mahila Manas Mandali and Kailashpati Nagar Colony residents Rudri, a grand musical Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha and Rudramahabhishek was organized in Kailashpati Nagar Rudri. The storyteller is Acharya Pravar Pandit Ajay Chaturvedi of village Gatapar Balod. On the fourth day of Shri Shiv Mahapuran on 25th July, storyteller Pandit Ajay Chaturvedi narrated the story of Shivsati Charitra, Shiv worship and woman's religion to the devotees and told that in this world the first birth was of a woman. Woman was also said to be a mine of all virtues. When a girl is born in this world, she is born with good fortune.
The storyteller Pandit Ajay Chaturvedi enthralled the listeners by telling them about devotion and worship through music and Bhajans. Every day Rudrabhishek of earthen Shivling is performed at the Katha Sthal. After the Katha, a Bhandara is being organized for all the listeners and devotees, where people from all sections are taking Prasadi. A large number of devotees including Anusuiya Sahu, Manoj Dewan, Kesari Dewan, Swarna Dewan, Suman Dewan, Hastrekha Nag from Raipur, Meena Singh, Vasanta Nirmalkar Dhamtari, Namrata Jachak, Gajendra Agarwal, Geeta Netam, Siyaram Sahu, Kriparam Sahu, Sunil Sahu, Shyama Sahu are gathering to listen to the Katha.
