MP: Chief Minister will attend the mass wedding ceremony organized in Ashta today

Sehore, 29 February (HS). A mass marriage ceremony is being organized in Ashta today (Thursday) under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana, which is being run by the state government for the marriage of daughters of economically weaker families. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is proposed to attend this marriage ceremony.

Sehore Collector Praveen Singh said that in this marriage ceremony, 927 girls will be married with traditional customs. This includes 179 marriages. During the program, checks worth Rs 49 thousand will be given to the beneficiaries.

Collector Singh has instructed the officials to make better arrangements. He has given instructions to ensure all the necessary arrangements including seating arrangements for the bride and groom along with their family members at the venue, garland, welcoming of guests, arrival, departure, drinking water, food, barricading, parking, traffic, security arrangements.
