Shahpura, July 25 (HS). A grand Chatradik Vahan Kaavad Yatra is being organized on Sunday, August 11 during the month of Shravan under the aegis of Shri Amar Gyan Niranjani Ashram located at Shakkargarh in Shahpura district. For this Kaavad Yatra, Shiva devotees from all four directions of the ashram will bring holy water in Kaavad through two-wheelers and will perform Jalabhishek on Rajasthan's first Shivling made of 251 kg mercury installed at the ashram.
Ashram's media in-charge Surendra Joshi told that at Shri Sankatharan Hanuman Dham of Mahamandleshwar Acharya Swami Jagdish Puri Maharaj's ashram in Shakkargarh, Rajasthan's first Shivling made of 251 kg mercury has been installed as Pardeshwar Mahadev. A special program of Jalabhishek along with Rudrabhishek has been organized on this Shivling on 11th August. Under this program, water has been brought in Kaavad from all the four directions including Rameshwar Mahadev Bundi from the east, Triveni Sangam from the west, Borada Ganesh Temple Deoli from the north and Tilswa Mahadev Temple from the south and hundreds of Shiva devotees have organized Jalabhishek on Pardeshwar Mahadev with Vedic chanting.
