West Champaran (Bagaha), 25 July (HS). Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey has met the Railway Minister to complete the incomplete Chittauni Tamkuhi railway line project in West Champaran district of Bihar, on which the Railway Minister has assured departmental action.
According to a press release issued by the office of Union Minister Satish Dube on Thursday, the foundation stone of the Chittauni Tamkuhi railway line was laid by the then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav in 2007. This railway line will pass through Paniyhawa to Chittauni along the banks of the Narayani river, passing through Madhubani, Dhanaha, Khaira Tola etc. and will join the Kaptanganj-Thawe railway line at Tamkuhiroad railway station in Kushinagar.
In this project, it was proposed to construct 10 big bridges and 47 small bridges along with 37.7 lakh cubic meter earthwork. In the project, it was proposed to build Chittauni at 3.35 km from Paniyhawa, Jatha at 15.5 km, Madhubani at 28.7 km, Dhanaha at 35 km, Khaira Tola at 38 km and Piprahi station and halt at 49.7 km along with making a plan for the construction of the last Tamkuhiroad station at 62.5 km a junction.
The construction of this railway line will be a great relief for the residents of Bihar situated south of the Narayani river. On one hand, they will get good transportation facilities, on the other hand, they will also be permanently protected from the floods that come every year. This railway line will also work as a strong dam and at the same time, there will be immense possibilities of tourism, employment and business here, which will greatly benefit the entire public and the concept of self-reliant India will get further strength.
In this context, Ritu Jaiswal, representative of MP-cum-Union Minister Satish Dubey, has given information that the Railway Minister has clearly instructed the officials to look at all the issues comprehensively and comprehensively and take action as soon as possible. Keeping the public concern in mind, it is a matter of joy that steps will be taken soon on the above issues and the public will get relief.
