Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed grief over the demise of former judge Sushant Chatterjee

Kolkata, July 25 (HS). Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed deep condolences on the news of the death of former judge Sushant Chatterjee. In her tweet, she expressed deep condolences and sympathy on the death of Judge Chatterjee.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in her tweet that she is deeply saddened by the news of the demise of retired Justice Sushant Chatterjee. Justice Chatterjee had given excellent service as a judge of the Kolkata and Odisha High Courts. He was also appointed by our government as the head of the commission formed to investigate the July 21, 1993 massacre.

Mamata further said that my deepest condolences and sympathies are with the bereaved family and friends in this difficult time. My prayers and thoughts are with them. May the departed soul rest in peace.
