Raipur, 25 July (HS). Students of Royal Kids Convent School met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on Thursday. Class 11th and 12th students of Royal Kids Convent from Rajnandgaon visited the Vidhan Sabha premises today. During this, the students also met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Leader of Opposition Charan Das Mahant.
The students of Royal Kids Convent School witnessed the proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha for the first time. During their meeting with the Chief Minister and the Speaker, the students asked many important questions out of curiosity and gained important information about the functioning of the Vidhan Sabha. The students described this experience as very informative and inspiring.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while sharing his experience with the students, said that it is very important for the young generation to be aware of politics and government functioning. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh gave detailed information to the students about the proceedings of the Assembly and its role.
Leader of Opposition Charan Das Mahant stressed upon the importance of ethics and honesty in politics to the students. This tour proved to be an important educational trip for the students, in which they not only witnessed the proceedings of the Assembly but also got an opportunity to interact with the prominent leaders of the state.
