Kolkata, July 25 (HS). A fire broke out beneath the office of Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee located at Camac Street in Kolkata, creating panic in the area. The incident happened on Thursday morning.
According to police sources, some people saw smoke coming out from the basement of Abhishek Banerjee's office on Thursday morning. As soon as the news was received, a fire brigade vehicle immediately reached the spot. At present the situation is under control. Firefighters conducted a search operation in the basement. It is also being investigated whether there was any fire connection inside or not.
On the other hand, a minibus was going from Birati to Bibaadi Bagh on Thursday morning. Suddenly the bus started burning in front of Mahajati Sadan on Central Avenue Road. The fire caused a stampede among the passengers. However, all the passengers were rescued safely.
