Mumbai: A student coming for private tuition in Ambarnath of Thane district was raped by the teacher's husband. This incident, which happened on the day of Guru Purnima, has created a stir. A case has been registered against the teacher's husband under sections of the Indian Judicial Code and POCSO Act at Shivajinagar Police Station in Ambarnath and further investigation has been started in this case.

According to the details received in this regard, the victim minor student was studying in a private tuition class in Ambarnath (E) for the last two years. The husband of the teacher teaching in this tuition class noticed this student. On July 21, on the day of Guru Purnima, the students were called for tuition. After the tuition class was over, the teacher asked the victim student to keep the extra tuition material in the upper room. At this time the teacher's husband was present in the upper class. The student was returning after leaving her stuff outside the classroom, when the accused raped and molested her.

The student was very scared by this incident and she did not tell anyone about this. The next day the student told her parents that she would not go to tuition classes from now on. Hearing this, her parents became suspicious. And when they lovingly asked their daughter the reason for this, she told the truth and her parents were shocked. Immediately after this incident, they reached Shivaji Nagar Police Station with the student and lodged a complaint. However, as soon as the information about the crime registered against the teacher's husband was received, the police tried to arrest him.
