Munjal first auto promoter to join Rs 100 crore salary club

Hero MotoCorp Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal has become the first automobile company promoter to join the Rs 100-crore salary club in FY 2023-24.

The 69-year-old promoter of the country's leading two-wheeler company took home a salary of Rs 109.41 crore in the last fiscal. This increase is ten per cent more than the financial year 2022-23.

N. Pawan Munjal is the new name in the Rs 100 crore salary club which includes Chandrasekaran, Sajjan Jindal and Thiry Delaporte. Munjal has retained his position as the highest paid promoter in the automobile sector for the past several years.

Apart from this, Neeraj Kanwar of Apollo Tyres has made a big leap in terms of salary package. Kanwar's salary as Vice President of Apollo Tyres has doubled to Rs 64.28 crore in the financial year 2023-24. In terms of salary package, Kanwar was at seventh place in the list in the year 2022-23, who has now reached second place. Earlier, Kanwar's annual salary was Rs 28.41 crore. In which there has been an increase of 126 percent.
