10 percent reservation for firefighters in BSF, CISF, age relaxation also announced

Taking a big decision on Wednesday, the Union Home Ministry has decided to give 10 percent reservation to firemen in the recruitment of paramilitary forces BSF-CISF. A BSF spokesperson said that Agniveers are trained after four years of training. Their recruitment is exactly like the recruitment of ready-made soldiers for us.

All forces will benefit from the Agniveer scheme. After some training, they can be deployed on the front. We will give 10 percent reservation to firemen and they will also get relaxation in age limit. There will be five years age relaxation for the first batch of firemen and three years for the subsequent batch. The CISF Director General also said that firemen will be given 10 percent reservation and relaxation in physical efficiency test in the recruitment of constable posts in CISF.
