In an interview, Janhvi has revealed about her illness. In this interview, she said that I became so ill that I had to be admitted to the hospital. My immunity was very low. She was working continuously even before the promotion of the film 'Miss and Mrs. Mahi' started. Meanwhile, I was also traveling continuously, shooting had started. I was very tired this whole month. She further says, I went to Chennai for an event. After returning from there, I was feeling uneasy. So I decided to stay at home and changed my work schedule. However, on Thursday her condition worsened. At first it felt as if I had eaten some adulterated food. When the blood test was examined, the story was different. I suffered body pain, weakness. I was having difficulty doing my daily activities, it seemed like a disability. I could not walk at that time, could not eat and drink properly.
Janhvi Kapoor further added that my body needs rest and you should listen to your body. No matter how important your work and other things are, taking care of your health is the most important thing. Now that Janhvi has started working out again, she says, I have a renewed respect for my body, for staying fit.
