The family members thought that she had fainted due to grief and tried to revive her by sprinkling water on her, but it did not work. The doctor was called and after examining her, he told that Niyati had also died. About three minutes after Shankar's death, Niyati breathed her last.

The family and neighbors are in deep shock due to this incident. The people of the village say that they had never seen such a scene. The family prepared for the last rites of Shankar and Niyati and both were cremated together at the village crematorium.
