BJP should not seek false applause, should clarify whether Bastar got Rs 500 crore or Rs 1000 crore for railway: Rekhachand Jain

Jagdalpur, 24 July (HS). Former MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Rekhachand Jain issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the presented Union Budget is disappointing for all sections of the society. The stock market has also confirmed this. The BJP has started taking false credit for the provisions made in the budget for the ambitious railway line of Bastar, which is condemnable.

The BJP government had announced a grant of 500 crores for the railway line in the interim budget presented five months ago. In the budget presented on Tuesday, it has also announced a grant of 500 crores. In such a situation, it should be clearly told to the people of Bastar whether Bastar will get 500 crores or 1000 crores for this railway line. Jain said that there is a lot of disappointment among the sections like villages, poor, farmers, women etc. due to the lack of provisions in the budget to provide relief to these sections.
