Unclaimed Rajasthan: Rescue ambulance will leave from Apna Ghar, Udaipur on Thursday

Udaipur, 28 February (HS). The Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the Government of Rajasthan along with Apna Ghar Ashram of Bharatpur, which is called the shelter of the shelterless, has started a campaign to make Rajasthan a stray-free state. Under this, rescue ambulance services from Apna Ghar Ashram in Udaipur will run in Udaipur division from 29th February to 5th March. Wherever information about a homeless person is received, he will be rescued and brought to his home in the Ashram.

Mission in-charge Shailendra Tyagi gave detailed information about the campaign and Apna Ghar to the media at Apna Ghar Ashram in Udaipur on Wednesday. He said that in accordance with the ideology of Apna Ghar Ashram, in order to ensure that no sheltered, helpless or sick person dies due to lack of services and resources, the organization is starting a campaign to make Rajasthan state free from strays.

Under this campaign, helpless, abandoned and sick people above 18 years of age can be rescued. Apna Ghar Ashram addresses the homeless people with the name of Prabhujan. Tyagi said that by saying Prabhujan the feeling of service becomes even more refined. Helpline number 7412061028 has been issued by the organization for this campaign. Common citizens will also be able to give information on this helpline number. As soon as the information is received, such people will be rescued by the Apna Ghar team and will be brought to the ashram and provided with all the necessities of life like accommodation, medicine, food etc. In case of need of more calls, up to 100 ambulances can be hired. The fare will be paid by the institution.

For the sake of convenience, the entire state has been divided into 7 parts for the rescue operation, in which 4 ambulances of the organization will be available for each area for 6 consecutive days. Divisional in-charge and district in-charge have been appointed for all the arrangements related to the areas where ambulance or any other type of requirement is required.

In this campaign, there are 28 ambulances in all seven divisions along with a staff of 122 which includes caretakers, medical personnel, drivers, women caretakers etc. For this campaign, the organization has prepared a building with 1000 residential capacity at its Bharatpur headquarters in which arrangements for beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets, electricity-water, entertainment, medical etc. are available. Also, staff has been kept according to their needs. In case of arrival of more than one thousand Prabhujans, 10 beds to 100 beds have been reserved for such Prabhujans at 22 ashrams of the state.

President and associate of Udaipur Apna Ghar Ashram, Gopal Kaneria said that the organization is running 22 Apna Ghar Ashrams in the state of Rajasthan. These rescued people will be sent to nearby ashrams, in case of shortage of space there or in case of serious illness, the people will be sent to Bharatpur Ashram. In this campaign, women servants have been appointed in the rescue team to rescue the women. He will be sent to Kota or Bharatpur Ashram as per the situation.
