Dhamtari, 28 February (HS). Congress State President Deepak Baij reached Dhamtari to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. While holding a meeting of Congress officials and workers and discussing the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, he energized the workers and said that only the face who wins the elections will be given the ticket. Forgetting the past, now the officials and workers should fully engage in the elections, because there is not much time left.
PCC President Deepak Baij reached Rajiv Bhawan in Dhamtari at 1 pm on 28 February. He held a meeting of workers here. Addressing the workers present in the meeting, State President Deepak Baij said that BJP is creating pressure with the help of ED and IT. It will not make any difference to Congress. For the Lok Sabha elections, meetings of workers are being held in all the districts of Chhattisgarh. There is continuous enthusiasm among the workers to win more seats from BJP. He further said that ticket for the Lok Sabha elections will be given to such a face who can win the election. The work of deciding tickets is the work of the high command. The Congress government has done better work in the state, but some mistakes have also been made. The BJP government has been successful in cheating the people of Chhattisgarh. In matters like Mahtari Vandan Yojana, loan waiver and bonus, it has proved unsuccessful on the test of general public.
Congress District President Sharad Lohana, MLA Omkar Sahu, Mayor Vijay Dewangan, former MLA Gurmukh Singh Hora also addressed the workers present in the meeting. On this occasion, a large number of Congress officials and workers including former MLA Dr. Lakshmi Dhruv, Rajkumari Diwan, Pankaj Mahawar, Mohan Lalwani, former MLA Lekhram Sahu, Vinod Tiwari, Ashwani Rajput, Ishwar Dewangan, Kendra Kumar Pandaria were present. PCC President Deepak Some workers submitted applications to contest elections from Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency in front of Baij and presented their claim. Which includes Congress Seva Dal District President Horilal Sahu and youth leader Ashish Thite. State Mahila Congress Secretary Ambika Sinha from Duban area has also submitted her claim to contest the Lok Sabha elections by applying to State Congress President Deepak Baij. So far, more than four officials from the Congress party have submitted their claim to contest elections from Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency from Dhamtari district itself.
