The Supreme Court has completed hearing on the petitions demanding re-examination in the NEET paper leak case. The Supreme Court has decided not to conduct the examination again. According to reports, the Supreme Court said that it is certain that the paper was leaked. The paper was leaked in Hazaribagh. However, the Supreme Court also admitted that there was not enough evidence of malpractice in the examination. The demand for re-examination is not justified. Which will have a negative impact on the students.
Earlier on Monday, a question in the NEET exam was in discussion which had 2 correct answers. An application said that those who answered this question got marks. The student who submitted the application said that I knew the correct answer to the question but due to confusion I left it. In this regard, the Supreme Court directed to form an expert committee under the Director of IIT Delhi to determine the correct answer to this question. For this, the Supreme Court has given time till Tuesday afternoon.
During this, courtroom drama was also seen. This debate was between lawyer Mathews Nedumpara, who represented the petitions of 16 students, and Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. This happened when Nedumpara tried to intervene during the arguments of senior lawyer Narendra Hooda. Hooda is representing another group of petitioner students. Nedumpara was repeatedly saying that he was not heard properly. The Chief Justice also refused to do so, but when his words were not heeded, he ordered Nedumpara to be thrown out of the court.
