Four parts of defense budget, know how much was allocated?

The budget allocated for defence has four components, first civil, second revenue, third capital expenditure and fourth pension.

1… Other development works including Border Roads Organisation, roads and tribunals are done by civil. Rs 25,963 crore has been allocated in this.

2…The revenue budget of the defence sector also includes salaries. A provision of Rs 82.772 crore has been made for this.

3…Weapons and necessary equipment have been purchased under capital expenditure, for which Rs 1 lakh 72 thousand have been allocated.

4…The fourth part mentions pension, in which Rs 1 lakh 41 thousand 205 crore has been allocated.

Will our forces become stronger like this?

The biggest strength of any country is weapons, fighter aircraft and ammunition. The central government has allocated Rs 1 lakh 72 thousand to buy weapons and equipment in the defense sector. This money will be used to buy aircraft and aeroengine equipment. Apart from this, heavy and media vehicles, other weapons and ammunition will also be purchased. The army will also be equipped with other technical equipment. Special railway wagons will be purchased for the army. The provision made in the budget will strengthen the naval fleet, the Naval Dockyard project will be started. There is also a plan to buy aircraft, heavy vehicles and other equipment for the Air Force.

Many provisions were made to make the army self-reliant

Many provisions have been made in the defense budget to make the army self-reliant. In this, many projects have been prepared for the production of weapons and equipment by the three armies. The government is also ready to invest in public enterprises. Earlier in the interim budget, the Finance Minister had announced that the defense sector would be strengthened with deep tech technology. Its main objective is to make India self-reliant. Apart from this, research will also be done in areas like robotics, machine learning and quantum computers.

After the presentation of the budget, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh thanked the Finance Minister. He said, 'Thank you for the highest budget allocation of 12.9 percent to the Ministry of Defense … I am happy that the allocation has been increased by 30 percent to help develop border roads compared to the last budget. Allocating Rs 6500 crore to the Border Roads Organization will strengthen our border infrastructure.'
