3 schemes are being implemented for employment promotion
While presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said that our government will implement 3 employment related schemes under the Prime Minister's package. It will be based on enrollment in EPFO and will identify first-time workers and provide employee assistance. Rs 1.52 lakh crore for agriculture and other sectors this year.
3 lakh crore for women
The Finance Minister said that the government has allocated more than Rs 3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and children. Industrial workers will get hostel accommodation. 3 districts of Andhra Pradesh will also benefit. The Centre on Tuesday proposed Rs 26,000 crore for several road projects in Bihar.
