Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget of Modi 3.0 today. Meanwhile, she made many big announcements related to farmers. The Finance Minister said that a provision of Rs 1.52 lakh crore has been made for farmers in the budget. Schemes for agriculture and allied sectors will be run from this fund.
The budget has also focused on increasing the income of farmers, apart from this, many announcements were also made regarding KCC limit and loan. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the land of 6 crore farmers will be registered. Apart from this, Kisan Credit Card will be launched in 5 states. Digital survey of saffron crop will be conducted in 400 districts. A mission will be run on the expansion of pulses and oilseeds. Crops will be promoted through certification and branding.
While giving a gift to the farmers in the budget, the Finance Minister said that 109 varieties will be launched for 32 crops. Apart from this, 10 thousand bio research centers will also be built. 1 crore farmers will be included under natural farming. For self-sufficiency in pulses and pulses, attention will be paid to production, storage and marketing. The government's focus will be on crops like mustard, groundnut and soybean.
