Now a loan of up to Rs 20 lakh will be given under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Scheme. Earlier there was a provision to give a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh under this, which has now been increased. Let us tell you that the government implemented this scheme to provide employment to the unemployed. Under this scheme, earlier the youth were given a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh for new employment. Meanwhile, the Finance Minister has now increased the loan limit to Rs 20 lakh.
The turnover limit will be reduced from Rs 500 crore to Rs 250 crore for mandatory inclusion of buyers on the trading platform. Financial assistance will be provided for setting up 50 multi-product food irradiation units in the MSME sector. E-commerce export hubs will be set up in PPP mode to enable MSMEs and traditional artisans to sell their products in international markets, the Finance Minister said.
