Budget 2024 Big Announcements For Women

Buying property is every person's lifelong dream. To make this dream of common people come true, the Modi government at the center has made a big announcement. Now it has been announced to give relief on stamp duty during registration on buying property in the name of women. This will provide great relief to the poor in stamp duty on registration on buying a house. Apart from this, the government has also made many other announcements for housing.

While presenting the 2024 budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that 3 crore houses will be built in villages and cities under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Apart from this, the Finance Minister has proposed central assistance of Rs 2.2 lakh crore for urban housing in the next five years. The Finance Minister also said that the Pradhan Mantri Suraj Ghar Free Electricity Scheme has received tremendous response and 1.8 crore people have registered under it.

The Finance Minister has made big announcements to reduce the rent burden of workers working in cities. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the budget speech that the government will develop rental housing in cities. These housing schemes will be built around big companies and factories. This will enable workers working in factories to get houses at cheap rent. This housing will be built in PPP mode.

Let us tell you that like last year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the budget for the current financial year 2024-25 in a paperless format. During this, the Finance Minister is wearing a 'cream' colored silk saree with magenta border. Before presenting the budget, she posed for a photo with a team of officials carrying a traditional 'briefcase' outside her office. The tablet was kept inside a red cover with a gold-colored national emblem instead of a briefcase. After meeting President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, she went straight to Parliament. Here she presented the budget.
