Expert Dr. AC Mishra said that this year the theme of National Science Day has been set as indigenous technology for developed India. District Coordinator Sushil Kumar Pandey said that Sir Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman, born on November 7, 1888 in Tiruchenappalli city of Tamil Nadu, completed his bachelor's degree with a gold medal in the year 1904 at the Presidency College, Madras. Went to Europe for a science seminar as a representative of Calcutta University. The deep blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the infinite blue sky hypnotized him so much that the unique blueness took him on an exciting journey to the Raman effect.
