Jaipur, July 22 (HS). The special month of Shravan for the worship of Bhole has started from today. There will be a total of five Mondays in the whole month. On the first Monday, rituals of Jalabhishek, Rudrabhishek, Sahastraghat are being performed in Shiva temples. The echo of Bam-Bam Bhole is being heard in Shiva temples since morning. Devotees started lining up for Jalabhishek in Shiva temples from four in the morning. Every Monday, flower tableaus will be decorated in major Shiva temples. In view of the heat, arrangements have also been made for sprinkling water on the road outside many Shiva temples and for shade.
In all the districts of the state, there was a crowd of devotees since morning for Jalabhishek in Shiva temples on the first Monday of Sawan. The queue of devotees started from early morning in the major temples of the state. At the same time, the administration also made tight security arrangements at the temples. Continuous monitoring was done by installing CCTVs at various places. Sevadaars were also appointed by the temple committee.
In Jaipur, Mangala Aarti was performed in the morning for the Tadkeshwar Mahadev of the fort. After this, the gates of the sanctum sanctorum were opened for the Jalabhishek. The entire temple premises has been decorated with special flowers brought from Kolkata. The first Monday of Savan is also being celebrated with great pomp at the centuries-old Jharkhand Mahadev Temple located in Vaishali Nagar. The Jalabhishek has begun in the temple from 4:30 am. Which will be done till evening. Along with this, Mahadev has been adorned with 101 kg of flowers in the Somnath Temple of Pali. The first Monday of Savan is being celebrated with great pomp in all the Shiva temples including Sawai Madhopur, Jalore, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Barmer.

Special puja-archana is being performed including Navshringar, Abhishek in more than 800 Shivalayas in and around Ajmer-Pushkar. There is a rush of devotees since morning in the Jharneshwar Mahadev temple located in the Dargah area of Ajmer. Devotees are praying for their wishes by performing Abhishek and worship.
