Assam Chief Minister meets Prime Minister

New Delhi, July 22 (HS). Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) shared pictures of the meeting of the two leaders on X and posted, “Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The Chief Minister posted on Twitter and said, “Today I had the good fortune of receiving the blessings and guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. He said that during our meeting, I informed him about the flood situation in Assam and various efforts being made to mitigate the challenges faced by our people. I also discussed the status of the ongoing development works. On behalf of the people of Assam, I once again heartily congratulate him on the beginning of his historic third term.”
