Player of the match Dhruv Jurel, who became the hero of the victory in Ranchi Test, has gained in the ranking. Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal have also benefited in the latest Test rankings. Indian captain Rohit Sharma played an inning of 55 runs in Ranchi but still lost one place. In such a situation, Virat Kohli is not playing in this series and he has lost two places.

After playing only two test matches for India, Dhruv Jurel has jumped 31 places. After Ranchi Test, he has come down from 100th position to 69th position. Shubman Gill has now reached 31st position with a gain of four places. Yashasvi is at 12th position while Rohit Sharma has slipped to 13th position with the loss of one place.
Virat is the only Indian in the top 10
