BJP protested in front of the police station in Bankura

Bankura, July 22 (HS). In protest against the atrocities on women across the state and the deliberate insult of Hindus by Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim, the Bankura BJP on Monday staged a protest in front of the Sadar police station and submitted a memorandum to the station in-charge.

Meanwhile, Bankura Sadar Assembly constituency MLA Niladri Dana said that despite the fact that the Chief Minister of the state is a woman, violence against women is increasing across the state. In most cases it has been observed that a particular community, known as Didi Ko Gai Gau, is involved in this act. Firhad, a prominent minister in the Chief Minister's cabinet, has insulted Hinduism by talking about converting non-Muslims to Islam. In protest against this, the police station was gheraoed today and a memorandum was given.
