Yuvadaya volunteers are making people aware about diarrhea by writing on walls and making announcements through mikes – News India Live

Korba/Janjgir-Champa, 22 July (HS). As per the instructions of Collector Akash Chikkara, District Administration Janjgir-Champa and UNICEF, in collaboration with Health Department, Women and Child Development, a public awareness program was conducted on Monday in Gram Panchayat Kosir, Choriya, Akaltara, Soniapat and Village Pondi by the Hero Volunteer of Yuvoday Hasdev to reduce the spread of diarrhea in the district. These days, due to the rainy season, the outbreak of diarrhea disease is spreading very fast in the district, due to which children and adults are falling ill, and the general public needs to take precautions against this disease, so that the family can be saved from getting affected by the disease.

In view of the diarrhea situation in the district, with the help of Mitanin, Anganwadi worker and Kotwar, UNICEF Yuvoday Hasdeo's Hero program volunteers are appealing to people in Panchayats, through wall writing and mega phone, and going door to door in villages, through banners, posters, miking and awareness rally in the community, advising people to maintain cleanliness around their houses, drink boiled water and wash hands after eating, cooking and defecation. Villagers are being appealed to immediately give ORS solution to children if they find symptoms of diarrhea, and are being encouraged to consult their nearest Mitanin or go to the health center. District Coordinator Hasdeo's Hero Vidhi Vinod, Yuvoday Hasdeo's Hero Block Coordinator Narendra Kashyap, Tarun Sahu, Mumtaz Begum along with Mitanin, Anganwadi worker and Kotwar of the village made a special contribution in the diarrhea control and awareness campaign.
