Indore: City's firefighting system will be strengthened, new fire stations will be built at seven new places

Indore, July 22 (HS). For quick and effective control on fire accidents, the fire fighting system of Indore city will be strengthened and expanded. Under this, new fire stations will be built at seven new places in the city. New vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will also be purchased for fire fighting in the city. Seven STP plants will be built in the city for the purification of Shipra and Kanh rivers.

This information was given in a meeting held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Singh. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, Additional Collector Gaurav Benal, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Siddharth Jain, Additional Collector Sapna Lovanshi, Rajendra Raghuvanshi, Roshan Rai, Nisha Damor and other officials were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Collector Ashish Singh discussed about improving the fire fighting system of Indore city. On this occasion, it was told that while on one hand fire fighting arrangements are being ensured in big and crowded buildings, on the other hand, an action plan has also been prepared to strengthen the fire fighting system. Under this, new fire stations will be built in the city in the areas between Nipania, Kanada, Palda, Khandwa Road, Hawa Bungalow to Rajendra Nagar Kate, Gandhi Nagar area and Bapat Square to Dewas Naka. Along with this, new vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will also be purchased. For this, the Collector has directed the officials to identify the land and start the work soon.

In the meeting, Collector Ashish Singh informed that seven STP plants will be built in the city for purification of Shipra and Kanh rivers. For this, the process of land allocation is also going on. He also reviewed the resolution of cases registered in CM Helpline in the meeting. He directed that all departments should ensure resolution of cases within the time limit. Action will be taken if negligence is found in resolving the cases. He also directed to speed up the campaign going on against begging. He said that the restrictive order issued recently should be ensured to be followed. Take action if violation of the order is found. He also directed to complete the goals of Jal-Jeevan Mission soon.
