4 people died, more than 49 injured, 17 in critical condition in a horrific collision between two buses in Uttar Pradesh

Rampur Road Accident: An accident took place on the Lucknow-Delhi highway in Rampur on Monday morning. Four people, including the bus driver, died in a fierce collision between the two buses, while more than 49 passengers were injured. Due to the Monday of the month of Shravan, the traffic on the highway has been made one-way. Due to which two buses collided head-on near the Bhairav ​​Baba temple in Milak.

At four in the morning, Sahibabad depot's Janrath bus going from Lucknow to Delhi collided with a private Volvo bus going from Haridwar to Shravasti. The front parts of both the buses were broken and turned into junk. After the accident, the injured were screaming at the spot. On receiving information about the accident, the ambulance reached the spot and the injured of both the buses were admitted to the city's government hospital for treatment.

Even the hospital staff and doctors were shocked to see such a large number of injured. The injured were lying on the floor in the hospital premises in pain. There were injured people everywhere in the hospital.

17 are in critical condition

17 seriously injured passengers have been referred to the district hospital. 13 passengers are being treated at Milak Hospital. Other passengers left after first aid. On receiving information about the accident, District Magistrate Jogendra Singh and Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra also reached the spot.

The District Magistrate said that the driver of a private bus was also among the dead. The District Magistrate reached the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured. He instructed to provide proper treatment to the injured and arrange vehicles to take the passengers home.
