At the Martyrs' Day rally of the ruling Congress in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Trinamool Congress is the only party which has 38 per cent women MPs.

Before the elections, BJP had claimed to give 33 percent reservation to women, but could not do so. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also participated in the rally organized in Dharmatalla. He said that the NDA government will fall soon.

At the rally, Mamata Banerjee said that Akhilesh Yadav has come to participate in the program on my invitation. I want Bengal to have better relations with the whole country. After Akhilesh Yadav's show in UP, BJP should have resigned. At the same time, SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that the forces conspiring to divide India on communal basis may get temporary success, but ultimately they will lose. The BJP-led NDA government at the Center will not last long, it will fall soon.

TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee was also present at the rally. He said that BJP has stopped all the funds of Bengal. BJP is defaming Bengal. In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP hatched a conspiracy to defame Bengal by making a false story and using Sandeshkhali as a weapon. He said that BJP used ED and CBI against TMC but did not win.
