Sarabjit Singh Khalsa, who won the election as an independent from Faridkot and became an MP, will soon form a political party along with Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh. He will announce this party when Amritpal comes out of jail. Sarabjit Singh Khalsa made this claim while addressing a public gathering at a programme.
He claimed that many leaders who were ministers in the Shiromani Akali Dal government and people with clean image are in touch with him. He has said that you form a party, we are ready to walk with you. He called upon the people to be ready for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections and to cast as many votes as possible.
Sarabjit Singh Khalsa said that when Amritpal Singh comes out of jail, we will all form a party together. People will be made members of the party as per Amritpal Singh's wish, the party will act on his advice. He advised his followers that if we start fighting with each other from now on, it will not be good for the sect. After 35 years, society has given us this opportunity. In such a situation, we should not confuse each other.
Sarabjit Singh said that either Amritpal Singh should ask me to form a party and when he comes out of jail, we will go together. In such a situation, he can decide to form the party alone or he can ask Amritpal's father Tarsem Singh to form the party. He will not form the party alone. He also told those people that we have to move forward together. When we form the party, we will call everyone. It will depend on the people whether they will come or not.
