Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, accused in a money laundering case, moved a special court on Thursday seeking interim bail for treatment of his 'slowly progressing cancer'. The petition said that based on the findings, it is necessary that Goyal first undergo a PET scan for cancer, based on which the doctor will decide the course of treatment including surgery, chemotherapy.

Goyal's lawyer said he had no objection but said that the medical board should be constituted as soon as possible so that the time taken in the process does not affect the health of the accused.
