A confident Indian women's cricket team will take the field on Sunday with a win over UAE to seal a place in the semi-finals of the Women's Asia Cup T20 tournament.
Defending champions India easily defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in their first match. India currently has two points and the run rate is plus 2.29. Defeating UAE will give them four points and the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team will become the first team to reach the last four. Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh and Pooja Vastrakar bowled brilliantly against Pakistan and will be expected to perform better in the match against UAE. Spinner Radha Yadav will be expected to bowl a tough spell as well as take wickets.
Openers Shefali and Mandhana played good innings in front of an easy target against Pakistan but they need to learn the technique of finishing the match. India lost three wickets soon after this pair broke. Big contributions will also be expected from the middle order batsmen against UAE.
