The report on the train derailment has revealed that there was some problem with the track at the place where the train accident happened. The track was broken for about 350 meters and this is why this accident happened. 4 people lost their lives in this accident.
The track maintenance personnel informed the engineering department. Railway rules say that if any such problem is reported to the engineering department by the track maintenance staff, then a caution is issued first. Caution means taking cognizance, according to which the train is operated keeping the rules in mind.
The station master received the precautionary order late
The train left the station at 2:28 pm while the station master was alerted at 2:30 pm. According to rules, as a precaution, the train should not run at a speed of more than 30 kmph at the place where the accident happened. But by the time the station master ordered caution, the train had already reached the fault in the track. The joint report also said that the train derailed at 2:32 am.
