Duplicate RC at home: Have you lost the RC of your vehicle? No problem. You can easily get a duplicate RC. Here we will give you step by step information to generate duplicate RC both online and offline. If the car is stolen then a copy of the FIR and if the car is on loan then NOC will also be required. – If your vehicle gets stolen, first file an FIR.
– If the vehicle is on loan then take NOC from the loan giving company.

Online Mode for RC

– Go to Transport Service Porter.
– Create your account. Log in if you have an account.
– Select Online Services. Select “Online Services” option in the top menu and then select “Vehicle Related Services”.
– Provide your vehicle details. Provide information like vehicle registration number, chassis number and get OTP.
– Select the Duplicate RC option. Select “Issue Duplicate RC” and then click on “Submit”.
– Fill the form and upload documents. Enter the vehicle type, chassis number and reason for loss of RC in the form, scan and upload the required documents.
– Make payment. Pay the fee through debit/credit card or net banking.
– Track your application. You can check the status of your application online.

Offline method

– File an FIR for vehicle theft.
– Visit the RTO office where your vehicle is registered.
– Get the application form (Form 26) for duplicate RC from the RTO.
– Fill all the information in the form.
– Submit the required documents like copy of FIR (if vehicle is stolen), PUC, Insurance Certificate, Address Proof and fee payment receipt along with the form.
– Submit your form and documents.
– You will get the duplicate RC within a few days.
