Tata Curvy Launch Date: Tata Motors today launched the ICE model of its much-awaited car Curve. The company has introduced this car along with its Tata Curve EV. This car will compete directly with vehicles like Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta.
Talking about the design of Tata Curve, the new car has a big bumper, low seat headlamps with LED eyebrows. Apart from this, it also has new pop-up door handles, alloy wheels, C pillars. The big bumper and back design of the car is quite unique. A new lightbar has also been given in this car.
Tata Curvvy ICE: Features
If we look at the features of Tata Curve, the features of this car have not been announced yet. But it is believed that advanced features like ADAS Level-2, 360 degree camera, panoramic roof, ventilated seats, dual digital screen with powered driver seat can be given in this car.
Tata Curve ICE: Engine
The company will launch Tata Curve ICE with a 1.2 liter GDI turbo petrol engine. This engine will be capable of generating a maximum power of 123 bhp and a peak torque of 225 Nm. Apart from this, there can also be an option of 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission. Along with this, the company will also provide a 1.5 liter engine in this car which will generate 113 bhp power and 260 Nm peak torque. With this engine, the company can offer 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT transmission options.
Tata CurvV ICE: Powertrain and Performance
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Curve EV will come with petrol, diesel and electric powertrain options. The Curve EV will arrive early next month, while the ICE model is expected to arrive in early 2025. The automaker has not yet confirmed the engine options, but the model is expected to get a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel and an electric motor.
Battery details are not yet revealed. The Curve EV is expected to have a range of over 500 km on a single charge. It is expected to be powered by a 55-56 kWh battery pack. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic on the ICE version.
Tata Curve ICE: Price
Tata Motors has not yet shared any official information about the price of this car. But the prices of Tata Curve EV will be announced on August 7 and the prices of Tata Curve ICE model will be announced after about 10 days. Tata Curve is going to be launched in the country soon.
Tata promises that the Curve has a functional cabin designed for Indian families, with plenty of storage options, premium materials and some segment first features. It will also get a host of safety features like multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold and level-2 ADAS. Full details about the new Curve coupe SUV will be available on August 7.
