Uttarkashi, 19 July (HS). Shravan Kumar Chauhan, son of Barkot tehsil of Uttarkashi district, posted in the Indian Army on the Leh Ladakh border, died due to sudden deterioration in his health. There is a wave of mourning in his native village Saranaul after the news of Shravan Chauhan's death. Shravan Chauhan, son of Shoorveer Chauhan, was posted in the 14th battalion of the Indian Army on the Leh-Ladakh border.
On Thursday, when his health suddenly deteriorated, the army admitted him to the hospital, where Shravan Chauhan died during treatment. Shravan's body has reached Chandigarh today (Friday) morning, from where the Indian Army will transport the body of the soldier to his native village Saranaul by road through an ambulance.
