Himachal: 'Result of false promises' Thakur cites Congo MLA's rebellion

The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh is in trouble. In the Rajya Sabha elections, 6 Congress MLAs left the party and voted for BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan. The result was that Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi had to taste defeat. In this matter, BJP leader and Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given the reason for the rebellion of Congress MLAs.

Result of these false promises – Anurag Thakur

Anurag Thakur has alleged that Congress formed the government in Himachal Pradesh by making big and false promises but did not fulfill those promises after forming the government. Within a year, Congress put its MLAs in so much trouble that they became rebels. He said that the public is asking questions to the Congress MLAs regarding the promises to which the MLAs do not have answers.

Anurag Thakur was not a soldier of public questions

Anurag Thakur said that when the MLA used to go to the area, the public used to ask questions, every woman was to get Rs 1500 per month, but no answer was given. People were asking why he promised to buy cow dung at Rs 2 per kg and milk at Rs 100 per liter? He had said that he will give government jobs to 5 lakh youth but due to no work, he could not give any answer.

Giving tickets to non-Himachalis is also a big reason – Thakur

Anurag Thakur said, “What was the compulsion that his MLAs abandoned him in just 14 months? The second big reason was that the ticket was given to a non-Himachali, which the people of Himachal did not like. Himachal, a small state where one can become a member of Rajya Sabha. There too he was ignored by the Congress and people were angry with this too. So I think there is some anger among Congress leaders too, but overall they are very unhappy with their government. That neither is she able to fulfill her promises. Neither has anyone developed. In 14 months, the situation has become such that development work has come to a standstill, while the government and government ministers are blaming each other.

Vikramaditya Singh resigned

In this connection, Himachal government minister Vikramaditya Singh has resigned. Vikramaditya Singh is the son of former Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh and was holding the charge of PWD Minister in the Sukhu government.
