Ranchi, July 19 (HS). There is a possibility of dharna, demonstration, procession, rally around the state guest house located in Morhabadi, Ranchi. In recent days, these programs are being held at other places instead of the previously scheduled place Zakir Hussain Park. The possibility of disruption in government work due to such programs, disruption of traffic system, law and order problem and disturbance of public peace cannot be ruled out.
In this regard, on Friday the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar Utkarsh Kumar using the powers conferred under Section 163 of the BNSS issued a prohibitory order within a radius of 100 meters from the boundary wall of the State Guest House at Morabadi (except Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University).
This prohibitory order will be in force from 9 am to 12 pm on July 19.
During the ongoing prohibitory order, any kind of dharna, demonstration, siege, procession, rally or public meeting will be prohibited without the prior permission of the competent authority. Also, carrying any kind of arms and weapons such as guns, rifles, revolvers, pistols, bombs, gunpowder, sticks, arrows, bows, axes, spears etc. will be prohibited.
Apart from this, there will also be a ban on using loudspeakers.
This order will not apply to any officer or force deputed by the district administration.
