Jaipur, July 19 (HS). In Murlipura police station area, a minor girl was sold by her aunt due to a quarrel between her parents. The 14-year-old girl became the mother of two children. The victim somehow saved her life and reached Jaipur and took refuge with the police. The police have registered a case and arrested the father-son duo accused of buying and selling the minor girl. At present, the accused are being questioned.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Amit Kumar, said that the quarrel between husband and wife in Murlipura police station area took away the childhood of a teenager. The 11-year-old girl was crushed in the quarrel between her parents. Due to the quarrel, the parents started living separately. The 11-year-old daughter was handed over to her aunt. Instead of raising her minor niece, the aunt sold her to a family in Haryana for two lakh rupees. The family started abusing the girl. At the age of 12, the girl gave birth to a son. Now she gave birth to a daughter two months ago at the age of 14. The teenager, who escaped from the harassment of the family, lodged a complaint in Murlipura police station two days ago. The police registered a report under the Minor Trafficking and POCSO Act. A team was sent to Ambala. Where the father-son accused in the case of trafficking of a girl from a cement factory were arrested.
The DCP said that after buying the girl, the accused father-son duo got her Aadhaar card made with fake documents. The Aadhaar card shows the girl's age as 24 years. So that if someone asks them about the girl, they can silence him by showing the Aadhaar card. Along with interrogating the accused, information is being gathered about the girl's aunt. A report was filed under the POCSO Act on the complaint of a 14-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh. She has been living on rent in Murlipura area for the last 7-8 months. The minor told the police that her parents used to live on rent in Murlipura area earlier. There used to be a fight between the two, due to which both started living separately. After the fight, the parents handed her over to her aunt living in Neemrana. The aunt sold her to a family in Haryana. Troubled by the torture of the family, she came to Jaipur about 8 months ago. The family members kept her 2-year-old son. After this, she came to Jaipur and started living with her two-month-old daughter.
