Hisar, July 19 (HS). In nearby Mirzapur, Spiritual Healer and Brand Ambassador of World Climate Change Foundation Maa Usha planted 250 trees under PM Modi's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. Out of these, 108 trees were planted in the name of her children. In this program organized in Mirzapur on Friday, Acharya Maa Ursha said that she herself will bear the maintenance cost of the 108 trees planted today for the next three years. She reached village Mirzapur on the second day of her three-day stay in Hisar.
During this time, many villagers including Swami Sahajanand Saraswati were present with her. Maa Usha said that she will actively participate in protecting the environment from time to time in collaboration with Mission Green Foundation. She said that trees are the basis of our life and creation. We humans have become so selfish today that indiscriminate cutting of trees is going on in the country and the world, while the saplings being planted in that number are not able to become trees, due to which the life of all living beings including humans is in danger. The importance of trees is so much that when a child is born, the stove and bed on which he sits are made of wood, the doors and windows of the house are also made of wood. After the child grows up, the chair and table in the office where he goes are also made of wood.
When a man grows old, the stick in his hand is also made of wood and when his death takes place at the cremation ground, 9 maunds of wood is used in his funeral. What I mean to say is that despite trees being so important in life, the general public is showing indifference in the plantation campaign, which is unfortunate. He said that under Mission Green Foundation, Swami Sahajanand Saraswati is making commendable efforts to save the environment in Hisar.
