Abhishek Sharma-

After which he had to play at number 3 due to the return of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Now he was not selected for the series against Sri Lanka.
Rituraj Gaikwad-
Rituraj Gaikwad is constantly being ignored as India's top order batsman. This Pune batsman has a very good record in the T20 format. He has scored a total of 633 runs at an average of 39.56 and a strike rate of 143.53. He also managed to show his talent by batting at number three on the Zimbabwe tour, but still he was ignored.
Sanju Samson-
Sanju Samson is a player who keeps going in and out of the team. Sometimes he is fired from the job and sometimes he is called back. Samson has been selected for the T20 series against Sri Lanka but he has not got a place in the ODI team. Samson scored an ODI century against South Africa last year. After which he was not selected in the ODI.
Yuzvendra Chahal-
Yuzvendra Chahal, the highest wicket-taker for India in T20, was once again ignored. He was in the T20 World Cup team, but did not get a chance to play a single match. Now he has not been selected for the series against Sri Lanka. Chahal has 96 wickets in 80 matches.
Mukesh Kumar-
Right-arm fast bowler Mukesh Kumar performed well on the recent Zimbabwe tour. He took a total of eight wickets in three matches played in Harare. However, he was not selected in the team. He did not get a place in the team due to the return of players like Khalil Ahmed.
