Palwinder Singh, Raghbir Singh, Balbir Singh sons of Joginder Singh resident of Pakan and others who were farming on that land on contract used to beat him up.
He said that today my brother Avtar Singh and his son Harmeet Singh (28) were watering their contracted field behind the said accused. In this, the said accused Palwinder Singh, Raghbir Singh, Joginder Singh, son of Balbir Singh came to the spot and first shot my nephew Harmeet Singh with a revolver and then shot my brother Avtar Singh and attacked him with knives. He was killed on the spot.
He said that earlier the accused Palwinder Singh, Raghbir Singh, Balbir Singh and the sons of Joginder Singh, a resident of Pak, were farming on this land, but now for the last two years my brother Avtar Singh has been farming on contract. As a result of which they carried out such an incident and killed my brother and nephew in the field.
The tragic death of the father and son has spread a wave of mourning in the area. The sad part is that the deceased Avtar Singh had two sons, out of which Harmeet Singh was murdered along with his father, while the other son is handicapped. The deceased youth Harmeet Singh was married and a few days ago he had a son after a daughter.
After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and started further action.
