19-year-old youth committed suicide by jumping from a water tank, big reason revealed

Youth Sucide: A student studying in Chandigarh University located in village Gharun under Kharar committed suicide by jumping from a water tank. The deceased student has been identified as 19-year-old Sumit Chakra. He was a resident of Haryana and had come to Kharar to study. Friends told the police that the deceased had also attempted suicide before taking this step.

The incident happened on the evening of 15th July. Near Khanpur village of Kharar, 19 year old Sumit suddenly climbed into a tank. He came to Chandigarh University for studies but committed suicide due to financial crisis.

As soon as his friends and neighbors saw him climbing the tank, they tried to stop him. Two people also climbed the tank to stop him, but seeing them climbing, Sumit jumped from the tank and ended his life.
According to the information received, Sumit was in depression due to financial crisis. Before climbing the tank, he also tried to cut his wrist. But he could not take this step and he found it easier to commit suicide by climbing the tank and falling from a height.

While sharing information about Sumit with the police, his friends told that he is from Haryana. The family was facing financial crisis. He was the only son of the family. He took this step as he was unable to bear the burden of the family. After Sumit's departure, his parents have become completely alone.
