Guwahati, July 18 (HS). A special train carrying 600 passengers of the derailed train (15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express) left Mankapur for Dibrugarh at 20.50. This information was given late night by Sabyasachi Dey, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
He has told that all the passengers from the accident spot were brought to Mankapur by bus and they were served tea, water etc. Rescue operation at the derailed spot has been completed.
The special train will have stoppages en route like 15904 Chandigarh – Dibrugarh Express.
