BJP has become issueless these days: JMM

Ranchi, July 18 (HS). Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) general secretary cum spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya has fiercely targeted the BJP. He said that the kind of language the BJP leaders are using these days, it smells of poison. He said that the BJP has become issueless these days, its true thinking is now coming to the fore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. He talks about Sabka Vishwas. But Bengal BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari is now openly saying that now the BJP does not need Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas.

Bhattacharya was speaking at a press conference at the party office in Harmu on Thursday. He said that in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP hardly fielded a single Muslim candidate. The BJP also hesitates to give tickets to Muslim candidates in the assembly. In Rajasthan, it gives tickets to a Muslim candidate on only one seat. The BJP does not give representation to a large Muslim population anywhere. He said that when BJP leaders come to Jharkhand, they talk about only two issues. One is infiltrators and the other is madrasa. But according to the Home Ministry report, the maximum attempts of infiltration are made in Tripura and they are also successful.

He said that BJP has been ruling Tripura for the last eight years. BJP has been in charge of border security for 10 years.
