In the annual convention of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Dr. Kailash Pandey, president of Haridwar branch of IMA has been selected as the second best president in the list of best presidents of the state. Dr. Kailash Pandey was honored for this achievement in the annual convention of IMA held in Haldwani.
Apart from practicing medicine, Dr. Pandey is also associated with social welfare organizations. He is also the president of Seva Samiti, an organization that conducts free funeral rites. Several branches of the Indian Medical Association are working in the state.
This association works at the organizational level to protect the rights of doctors. On the basis of work done by the various branches of the organization, the delegation of the officials of the association also honors the best branch and its officials in the annual convention.
